Job Summary:
Fixed hours: 6:25AM - 2:55PM M-F
We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team. As a Woodworker, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling various wooden products using hand tools and machinery. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will be crucial in producing high-quality woodwork.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cut, shape, and smooth wood using hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and sanders
- Operate woodworking machinery including screwdrivers, routers, and sanders
- Assemble wood components using screws, nails, dowels, or adhesives
- Apply finishes such as varnish or paint to enhance the appearance of the woodwork
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocol
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Woodworker or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and woodworking machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to stand for periods and lift 30 lbs
